High Density Polyethylene is a high technology polymer that does NOT fade.  It has been engineered with the ideal ratio of impact-absorbing forgiveness while maintaining optimal structural integrity. It outperforms every other material as you may see on product comparison for outdoor kitchens and living spaces, especially in the Lowcountry's humid environment.


HDPE can be cleaned with a cloth doused in warm water. Grease and similar stains can be removed using normal household detergent.


PVC is a durable vinyl polymer whereas HDPE is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum.  Both pipes are strong through high temperatures. When comparing failure ratings when exposed to events like rain, stress, wind, heat or cold, HDPE is proven to be more durable.
